Hello My Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
My name is Jeff Kassab and welcome to my blog page about “The Journey To Heaven.” I would like to tell you a little about myself and my own journey to heaven. First of all I’m a disciple of Jesus Christ and my mission for the rest of my life is to preach about the Kingdom of God. Some people might ask why is this my mission? Simply because Jesus gave us the commandment to do so in Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” this is my mission and I hope to reach as many people as I can through this page.
I’m married to my beautiful wife Ahlam for 29 years and I have two children Alex(28) and Amanda(25). I have a BA in Catholic Theology and currently pursuing my MA in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit Mi. In 2010 I got diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 42, it was devastating news but we had to deal with it as a family. Through the grace of God and with the help of my patron Saint Padre Pio the lord cured me and my journey began. I’ve been a catholic all my life but never actually met Jesus until I got cancer. I knew of Jesus but not on a personal level. After I got cured I told the Lord that I’m at his service, little did I know what he had in store for me. In 2012 the Holy Spirit called me to go back to school, But not just any school specifically seminary. For six months I said no to the Lord because I did not trust in him. Then one day my wife asked me what was wrong because I was miserable and I told her this is what the Lord wants from me and her reply was” how long can you say no to Jesus?” So, two days later I went to the seminary and got all the paper work and entered in 2013, let me tell you that it was the best decision of my life (besides getting married). Since then I have had the privilege of teaching bible studies, apologetics, the catechism of the catholic church, marriage prep, and many speaking engagements, I also co-founded a men’s group called Genesis 4:9 and developed a marriage prep program for the diocese of Saint Thomas the Apostle (Eastern Rite Chaldean Diocese).
I hope we will get to know each other better through this page. There is a few things that I will not tolerate: Bashing of the church or the Holy Father. Feel free to leave respectful comments so we can talk or have civil debates about them.
If you would like me to speak at a parish mission or any conference please contact me at:
